Radiology - Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: 2+ years required License: State license required Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required, ARRT required Must-Have: Willingness to apply for state licensure if not currently held Ability to respond within 30 minutes for STEMI alerts Willingness to float within scope Description:Accepting candidates for orientation.2+ years of experience required.AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications are required.Current ARRT certification and state license are required.Candidates willing to apply for licensure after being offered will be considered.Schedule is Monday to Friday with one rotating weekday off each week.Call requirement is 8-15 days per month and 1 weekend every 3 weeks.The call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 Radiology Technologist.Float required within the scope of practice.Duties include table panning and scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases.Assist with devices/tools such as Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, and ACIST injector.Responsibilities include device implants such as pacemakers and ICDs, as well as peripheral diagnostics and interventions.Cross-training in Electrophysiology (EP) is available.Our procedures utilize both radial and groin access.Daily procedures range from 8-10 in 2 Cath Labs, with rotation in the EP Lab.Expect 6-8 STEMI cases per month.Staffing ratios may vary based on patient needs.Equipment set-up and maintenance of sterile technique are required.Responsibilities may also include hemodynamic monitoring, central venous access, and catheter procedures.Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and emergency response are fundamental to this role.References are required from charge or supervisory levels.Candidates should be prepared for a background check and must disclose any license issues upfront. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
