Youth Flag Football Official
The Youth Flag Football Official is responsible for officiating of youth flag football games (grades K-8). Program Goals:
- Develop a passion for sports in each child
- Develop fundamental football sports skills
Pay is per game: $20/game for Kindergarten - 3rd grade games $25/game for 4th - 8th grade games.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Interpret and enforce all flag football rules and adaptations
- Supervise and control conduct on field
- Provide quality customer service
- Be ready to work at scheduled times
- Dress and act in a manner that is professional
- Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the City of Stoughton Parks & Recreation Department
- Examine playing field and equipment to ensure safety
- Fill out own time sheet accurately and turn into supervisor before leaving
- Cooperatively work in a team with other officials and supervisor
- Attend all game dates
- Communicate with Recreation Supervisor in a timely manner regarding inability to make scheduled games
- Be able to attend all necessary trainings
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge about the sport of football
- 15+ years old
