Job Summary

Comfort Keepers – Easton, MD is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide personalized one-on-one, in-home care services to our clients in the Chester, Maryland area. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping seniors and adults remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

This is a part-time, hourly position where you'll work directly with clients, building meaningful relationships while providing exceptional care. Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community outings as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and dishes.

Qualifications:

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of one (1) year of caregiving or related experience.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Be able to communicate compassionately and effectively with clients and families.
• Be physically able to perform caregiving duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds and bending, twisting, and kneeling.
