RV Service Technician

RV Service Technician Job Summary: Vogt RV is seeking a skilled and motivated RV Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of recreational vehicles (RVs), including motorhomes and travel trailers. The ideal candidate has hands‑on mechanical experience, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for quality workmanship. Come work on these iconic Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on RV systems, including: Electrical (12V and 120V) Plumbing and water systems Propane systems - LP certified is a plus HVAC systems Awnings, and leveling systems Roofs, windows, and structural components Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues Install aftermarket parts and accessories (e.g., solar panels, tow packages, satellite systems, lithium upgrades) Maintain accurate work orders and service records Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about work performed and repair recommendations Follow safety procedures and company policies Keep a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school a plus Minimum 1–3 years of experience in RV repair or similar mechanical/technical field (automotive, HVAC, marine, etc.) Knowledge of RV systems and components Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and schematics Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) RVIA/RVDA certification is a plus but not required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
