Key Responsibilities Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures, ensuring efficiency and safety. Identify anatomy within the operative field. Maintain positive customer relations. Demonstrate competency and possess the technical skills necessary for assigned cases. Work under the supervision of the manager of the Surgical Assistants. Required Qualifications Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Excellent eye-hand coordination. Ability to stand for long periods. Sound judgment and knowledge of scientific principles. Education 2 years of college or specialty school in surgical assisting. Certifications NSAA, CFA in the AST, AA-C in the AAPA, or CRNFA in the ONA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
