Reportsto: DirectorofMEPServices FSLA: Exempt Objective:TheMEPCoordinatorisresponsibleforthecoordination,oversight,andmanagementofallmechanical,electrical,plumbing,andfireprotection(MEP/FP)systemsacrossavarietyofconstructionprojects.Thisroleensuressystemsaredesigned,coordinated,andinstalledinalignmentwithprojectspecifications,qualitystandards,andschedules. Responsibilities: Reviewconstructiondrawingsandprovidefeedbackrelatedtoconstructability,valueengineeringopportunities,incompletescope,anddimensionalconflictstoproactivelyidentifypotentialissues. Developandreviewprojectestimatesandbudgets,ensuringallMEP/FPcomponentsarecapturedinaccordancewithplansandspecifications. CommunicatewithMEP/FPtradepartnerstoensureaccurateandcompletebidsubmissions. Collaboratewiththeestimatingteamtoevaluateandselecttradepartnersbasedoncost,qualifications,andabilitytoperformtherequiredscopeofwork. Participateinpre-mobilizationmeetingswithtradepartnerstoreviewscopeandconfirmallprojectrequirementsareclearlyunderstoodandincorporated. BuildandmaintainstrongworkingrelationshipswithMEP/FPtradepartnerforemenandfieldteams. CoordinatewiththeonsiteSuperintendenttoconductinspectionsofinstalledworkandgeneratedetailedqualitycontrolreports. DistributequalitycontrolreportstotheDirectorofMEPServices,ProjectManager,ProjectSuperintendent,andrelevanttradepartners. Developandimplementremediationplanswithtradepartnerstoaddressnonconformingwork,equipmentdeficiencies,ordeviationsfromprojectspecifications. Coordinatefollow-upinspectionswiththeSuperintendenttoensureresolutionofnonconformanceissues. CollaboratewithMEP/FPtradepartnersandVDCteamstodevelopclash-freeBIMmodelswhenrequired;scheduleandleadcoordinationmeetingsthroughouttheprocess. Supportsystemstartupandcommissioningactivitiesincoordinationwithprojectteamsandtradepartners. Workcloselywithcommissioningagentstoensureallsystemsarefullyoperationalandmeetdesignrequirementspriortoprojectcompletion. Skills: Strongorganizationalskillswiththeabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesanddeadlines. Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills. Highlevelofintegrityandstrongworkethic. Qualifications: Bachelor’sdegreeinMechanicalEngineeringoraminimumof5+yearsofexperienceinthecommercialconstructionindustrywithafocusonMEP/FPsystems. ProficiencyinconstructionmanagementsoftwaresuchasProcore,Bluebeam,Navisworks,BIMplatforms,andAutodeskConstructionCloud(ACC). Strongcomputerskills,includingMicrosoftOfficeSuite. Demonstratedleadership,collaboration,andinterpersonalskills.WORKENVIRONMENT,PHYSICALANDMENTALDEMANDS
