Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary pre-operative assessments and documentation are completed.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, maintaining a sterile field and following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient care and timely interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery processes.
• Maintain updated knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in the Operating Room or surgical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-stress environment.

This position offers a 4x10 hour shift, with daytime hours from 06:30 to 17:00.
