About the Position

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced RN for a small LDRP unit with autonomy in both maternal and newborn care. The unit handles lower overall birth volume (~100/year) but includes higher-acuity/high-risk cases. You’ll work independently, collaborating closely with a lean team, and must be comfortable floating to MedSurg or assisting with non-clinical tasks (CNA/secretary/helping hands) as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in obstetrics/L&D (unit accepts first-time travelers)

• Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BCLS in hand

• Skills:

  • Fetal heart monitoring expertise

  • Strong autonomy/judgment in LDRP settings

  • Willingness to float to MedSurg or other support roles as required

• Ratios: 1:1–1:2

• Weekend: As determined by department needs

• EMR: Centricity, Meditech Magic experience preferred or ability to learn quickly

• Locals: Accepted (“local rate” applies)

• Scrubs: Navy Blue
