Compliance/Risk Manager -HEALTH/SAFETY

Full Time Elizabethtown, KY, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1040 Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually Pre-Employment Requirements: Drug test Criminal Background check – over three years since prior conviction TB skin test : Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education in compliance, risk management and occupational health and safety. Job Responsibilities: Able to provide quality customer service to personnel, persons served, families and stakeholders. Help maintain the health, safety and welfare of personnel, person served and stakeholders. Develop and maintain a risk management plan. Develop and maintain a risk/hazard observation register. Develop and maintain a health and safety program. Develop and maintain health and safety training. Conduct all new hire safety orientation training. Lead risk/safety & health meetings. Conduct annual safety refresher training for personnel. Run a motor vehicle report (MVR) on new hires who will operate a company vehicle. Conduct a road test on all new hire drivers. Conduct hazard analysis. Lead incident investigations. Conduct root cause analysis. Give recommendations for hazard/risk mitigation. Maintain and submit all OSHA logs and other regulatory agencies. Monitor and promote reduction of TRIR, DART, LTCR. Prepare Risk Management and Safety plans and follow ups in accordance to CARF standards. Develop a checklist to monitor safety drills and inspections. Assist in quality assurance of the agency. Ensure annual financial audits are conducted, and findings are addressed with CFO and CEO. Ensure medical record audits are conducted, and findings are addressed. Responsible for auditing a sample of files and documenting findings in the following departments: Human Resources, Clinical, Medical, Admissions/Transportation, Marketing. Participate in quarterly and annual strategic planning meetings. Ensure compliance with CARF reporting standards. Other duties as assigned. General Standards: Exemplify Core Values. Maintain all requirements for job duties to include but not limited to TB skin screening and any continuing education requirements necessary.
