Cyber Security Lead

Providing strategic leadership for cybersecurity initiatives, the full-time Cyber Security Lead will oversee daily security operations, compliance, risk management, and team performance in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary cybersecurity liaison for internal leadership and external stakeholders while defining and executing the cybersecurity strategy Lead daily operations of the cybersecurity team, managing workload distribution and team performance to ensure high-quality deliverables Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and conduct security assessments to identify and mitigate organizational risk Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including leadership responsibilities Demonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity programs aligned with NIST, FISMA, and ATO requirements Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security + Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders, presenting cyber status and recommendations
