Radiology Technologist NHMG - Family Medicine

Overview Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians Jetton is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to work independently and assist physicians in performing diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in our ambulatory setting. Schedule: 12:00pm-8:00pm, Monday-Friday. What You'll Do Perform direct patient care, collecting data to determine correct procedure and protocol, performing screening processes for medication reconciliation and allergy confirmation, reviewing orders for clarity and verifying as needed, and assisting physicians in radiology procedures. Maintain professional and clinical competencies; comply with education requirements set by credentialing bodies; work with radiologists to develop and maintain standard protocols for routine procedures. Move patients from wheelchair or stretcher to imaging table, positioning for best results, using lift equipment or aide if required; ensure patient safety often requiring two people. Operate the x‑ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images, ensuring radiation safety guidelines and infection prevention policies. Use electronic information systems and PACS, record patient data, and provide excellent customer service. What We're Looking For Education: Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiography program; certification required within 6 months of hire. 2‑year associate degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year in diagnostic radiology. Licensure/Certification: ARRT required. Additional Skills: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories; analytical ability; basic computer skills; ability to adapt care for patients of all ages; strong communication skills; ability to work independently in diagnostic rooms.
