Contract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including management of labor, preterm labor, and antepartum patients across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform circulating, scrub, pre-op, and post-op duties for OB-GYN and GYN surgical cases
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialty medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and cooling/warming blankets
• Float to Post-Partum and potentially to a sister Labor and Delivery facility as required; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); up to 2 major holidays may be requested off
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with low-risk antepartum, couplet care, and transition nursery settings
• First-time travelers are accepted
