Job Title: Rapid Response RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: Candidates must be able to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance. General weekly orientation is on Mondays. This is a rapid response position. The unit has a total of 9 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Equipment used includes EHR systems such as Centricity and Meditech. Insights into the patient population include adult patients. Preferred experience includes management of common diagnoses such as normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. Candidates should possess adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy. Scrub colors must be compliant with dress code; acceptable color isceil blue. Non-compliant scrub colors, scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content, and inappropriate footwear are unacceptable.
