Speech Language Pathologist

Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver patient-focused care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff. Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on home programs and therapy techniques. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Participate in care planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current South Dakota SLP license or ability to obtain. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings.
