Material Handler

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lumber Puller / Material Handler to join our team in Greensboro. This role is responsible for pulling, staging, and preparing lumber and building materials for delivery to construction sites. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse/yard environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and stage lumber and building materials for outgoing orders
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Verify product accuracy (size, grade, and type) before shipment
• Load and prepare materials for delivery to job sites
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, lumber yard, or construction materials preferred
• Forklift experience required (certification a plus)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work early morning shifts and stay until work is completed
