Senior Project ManagerAs a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful execution of complex engineering projects and programs for public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities. This role is responsible for overall project delivery, financial performance, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of projects.You will serve as a key client interface, provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior project managers, and support business development efforts to expand our services with existing and new clients.What You Will Be DoingLead and manage a portfolio of engineering projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utilitiesProvide overall leadership for project execution including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety performanceOversee financial performance and profitability of assigned projects and develop recovery plans when needed to maintain project performanceServe as primary client relationship manager, maintaining strong client partnerships and identifying opportunities for additional servicesLead coordination between engineering leads, project teams, and functional managers to ensure timely delivery of project deliverablesDevelop and review project financial reports, schedules, and resource forecasts in collaboration with Accounting and Project ControlsReport project performance, financial status, schedule, and risks to both clients and internal leadershipProvide mentorship and guidance to project managers, engineers, and project staff, supporting their professional development and project management capabilitiesLead multidisciplinary teams and promote collaboration across engineering, project controls, accounting, and support functionsSupport the development and improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organizationAssist with and lead proposal development, including scope definition, scheduling, and cost estimates for requests for proposal (RFP) responsesCollaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to expand existing client relationships and identify new opportunitiesPrepare and present technical and project performance reports to clients and internal leadershipWork with Accounting and Project Controls on client invoicing, project financial tracking, and accounts receivablePerform other duties as neededWhat You BringBachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline (preferred)10+ years of experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects (required)Demonstrated experience managing large or complex projects for electric utilitiesPE registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required)Previous project management experience with a utility or engineering consulting firm strongly preferredExperience in transmission line design and management (preferred)Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skillsProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to mentor and develop junior staffSome travel is requiredSo...Why Join Us?You will have the opportunity to learn, grow and directly contribute to our business.
