Job Summary We're on the lookout for a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and collaborate with our Director of Nursing (DON). Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Ability to lift 100 pounds or more and bear weight. Involves continuous physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, pulling, stretching, turning, grasping, and reaching. This is a safety-sensitive position pursuant to A.R.S. 23-493. Must be able to wear protective equipment such as gloves, masks, gowns, goggles and gait belts. Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, common health care conditions, smells, noises, chemicals and some mechanical equipment. Exposure to a variety of patient conditions and elements. Regular requirement of long hours and frequent weekend work. Frequent interactions with persons who may be verbally abusive to include yelling and cursing. Frequent interaction with persons who are disabled, elderly and emotionally upset and who may be emotional, verbally and physical abusive. Requires the ability to work with frequent interruptions with a workload that may be unpredictable and difficult to manage at times. Required Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing. Current Arizona Nursing License or a license from a compact license state. Obtain/maintain Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Card at employee's expense. Maintain CPR Certification. Receive the COVID-19 vaccine or exemption. Complete annual Tuberculosis Testing. Fulfill the required 12 hours of annual in-service training. Mandated federal, state, and local communicable disease testing as required.
