Tanker - 2nd Shift
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Tanker - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $26.20 per hour. The hours for this shift are 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding. *Bonus terms:
- Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1st, 2024 to qualify.
- Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
- Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.

What You'll Do:
Position overview: The Tanker is responsible for tank substation and three-phase, pad-mounted transformers, making all necessary connections to brushings, switches, etc.
In this function you will: • Locate and move tanks, parts, and covers to the assembly area.• Assemble bushings and current transformers to cover or tank as specified.• Mount core and coil in tank and bolts in place, clamp cover in place and makes all electrical connections to bushings, and mount tap changer, switches, current transformers, and vacuum fault interrupters.• Locate and assemble all accessories, such as oil level gauges, thermometer, pressure-vacuum gauge, pressure relief device, etc. to the tank as specified.• Check all lead clearances inside unit and assemble needed spacers and or insulating barriers as required.• Perform resistance testing on small pad-mounted transformers.• VFI, Load break switches.• Read and work off of blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum of one (1) year of electrical experience.
