Location: Uvalde, TX (service areas include Del Rio) Start Date: Immediate to upon acceptance Duration: Ongoing/Long-term Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Licenses/Certifications: Active TX RT or RN license, BLS, ACLS Experience: 1+ year in clinical respiratory or nursing roles Pay & Benefits Pay: $33.00–$40.00 per hour (experience-based) Bonuses: $2,000 sign-on bonus after 60 days; additional bonuses at 180 and 365 days Reimbursements: Mileage for travel between patient homes Additional Benefits: Health coverage, paid time off, retirement plans, and ongoing professional development What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' respiratory status in the home Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory devices, including ventilators Adjust ventilator settings based on patient condition, following assessment and clinical judgment Educate patients and families on safe use, cleaning, and maintenance of respiratory equipment Document clinical visits and equipment statuses accurately using electronic health records Provide phone-based support and troubleshooting during on-call hours Collaborate with care teams and coordinate with families for optimal patient outcomes What You Need Active Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner or Registered Nurse license Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy or nursing Strong assessment, troubleshooting, and patient education skills Ability to lift equipment (up to 65 lbs) and travel between homes Excellent communication skills and flexibility for travel and on-call duties About the Assignment This position involves providing vital in-home respiratory care, including ventilator management and patient education, across Uvalde and Del Rio.
