Kiembu-English Language Annotator for AI Training

Help improve next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality Kiembu language expertise across transcription, annotation, cultural context, and interpretation tasks. This remote contract role focuses on transforming real-world linguistic knowledge into accurate training data and feedback. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe Kiembu video and audio content with precise timestamps for each segment.
• Analyze speaker emotion and tone in multimedia materials.
• Evaluate and annotate Kiembu grammar, sentence construction, and other linguistic features.
• Explain the meanings and cultural nuances of selected Kiembu words and phrases.
• Complete complex contextual analysis, translation, and interpretation assignments.
• Provide clear written and verbal feedback that supports project linguistic objectives.
• Ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards and project guidelines.

• Exceptional bilingual fluency in Kiembu and English, including advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Kiembu grammar, syntax, and cultural context.
• Experience with transcription, linguistic annotation, or related language-focused work.
• Ability to assess speaker emotion, tone, and intent with strong analytical judgment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and consistently on detailed language assignments.
• A background or interest in linguistics, translation, or language technology is a plus.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $45 to $95 per hour.
