Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Obstetric Emergency Department (OB/GYN ED) position in Nashville, TN, requiring at least 2 years of experience and current fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Position is based in an Obstetric Emergency Department (OB/GYN ED) within a hospital setting in Nashville, TN
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required (AWHONN or NCCEFM)
• Current NRP Advanced 9th Edition certification (American Academy of Pediatrics) required
• CPI certification required for ED/ER-based units (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI based on facility requirements)
• U.S. SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
