Monitor hemodialysis sessions, operate dialysis equipment, assess vitals and labs, manage fluid balance, and administer prescribed medications. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust the plan of care, document assessments and interventions, and ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments. Perform nursing assessments, maintain sterile technique, follow infection control practices, and respond promptly to clinical changes, escalating to the physician as needed. Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures, medications, diet, and post‑care instructions; coordinate discharge planning and referrals as appropriate.
