Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Summary:

The Charge Endoscopy/Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
• RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position we prefer a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer a minimum of one-year acute care RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU or Critical Care. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred for this role. Charge experience is preferred for this position.

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Bachelor's Nursing or Associate's Nursing and Bachelor's Science in related field or Associate's Nursing and RN Certification in related field
