Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $2,068 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Pediatric RN for a 13‑week travel nursing assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. Position Details Specialty: Pediatrics Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12‑hour nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide age‑appropriate care to patients. Help patients feel comfortable during examinations and procedures. Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests. Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent populations. Assist treating physicians during examinations, treatments and procedures. Provide information, education and support to patients' family members. Stand and walk for long periods, lift and move patients as required (up to 50 lbs). Work safely around chemicals, infectious diseases and other patient‑care hazards. Qualifications 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience. BLS and PALS certification (additional certifications may be required prior to assignment). Ability to lift 20 pounds and move patients up to 50 pounds. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for extended periods. Strong communication and family support skills.
