Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of acute care Echo experience. Experience with pediatric and adult inpatient/outpatient cardiac patients, assisting with pericardiocentesis and other procedures, and measuring accurate EFs. Must be comfortable doing peds scans.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Fetal scan experience and stress test experience preferred. Comfort orienting new hires preferred.

Unit Details: Will go to bedside for inpatients. Supports pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatient patients and a large structural program. Common cases include CHF, pre/post cath, pre/post CABG, pre/post Watchman, pre/post TAVR, PFOs, bubble studies, aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, stroke patients, ER patients, TEEs, and stress tests. Will enter preliminary findings in a modifiable report for physician review and final confirmation. PACS: Philips Cardiovascular/ISCV/Intellaspace. Uses Philips and GE equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation not required at this time. On-call 1 night per week from end of shift until 0700 the following morning; most likely a weekday, but could be a weekend. 30-minute response time. Call-backs are infrequent and require cardiologist approval. Holiday expectations: call only on major holidays. Eve of holidays, department is open. Could be on call for 50% of holidays per contract. Modified self-scheduling; can put in requested days, but manager has final approval. Schedule is made in 6-week increments.

Required Credentials: ARDMS-RDS or RDCS

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
