About the Role:

As a Cook at Harmony Care at Giddings, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to menus and therapeutic diets, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring residents receive quality meals in a timely manner. You will work closely with our culinary team to plan and execute meal service, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and taste. Additionally, you will be expected to work weekends and holidays as needed, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and therapeutic diets
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Ensure residents receive quality meals in a timely manner
• Work closely with the culinary team to plan and execute meal service

• Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests

Requirements:

• Previous cooking experience preferred
• Food Handler's Certificate required or ability to obtain
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Reliable and team-oriented
