Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Interpret work orders and work instructions to set-up and operate equipmentMaintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulationsPerform transactions and data entry at computer workstationsSafely operate material handling equipment to transport and position material for processingThis can include bridge cranes, jib cranes and forkliftsUnloading and loading of trucks and/or railcars with overhead cranesWhat You'll Need:Ability to efficiently set-up, operate, monitor and adjust shop equipment to ensure a conforming productThis can include the furnaces, straighteners, saws and shot blastAbility to follow direction provided on schedules, work orders and work instructionsAbility to follow oral and written instructions given by the crew supervisorAbility to perform material handling tasks and hardness tests with the equipment providedAbility to perform measurements with tape measures/calipers, etcYour Education:High School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
