RN - PACU

PACU RN

This position is for a PACU RN. The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts per week, with varying start times. The patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:2 during the day and night shifts. The role requires experience working with high-acuity PACU patients. Candidates must be proficient in caring for orthopedic, neurological, general, and oncology patients in the PACU setting. Weekend work is required based on department needs. The clinician may float within the hospital as needed. The position involves caring for patients post-surgery, except for those undergoing eye procedures. Candidates should also be prepared to assist with pre-operative and phase II recovery. The facility provides support from various interdisciplinary teams.
