Pharmacy Technician II - IP - Days

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.62 - $30.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician II

• Location:Edward Hospital. Naperville, IL

• Full Time - 40 hours/week

• Hours: Days, 7:00am - 3:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays

What you will need:

• Education (Required):

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Certifications (Required):

  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois

  • One of the following must be met:

    • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or

    • Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or

    • Current Pharmacy Technician license with "Student" designation issued by the State of Illinois

• IV room experience preferred

What you will do:

Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
