Position Title Physical Therapist – Outpatient Location Clarksville, TN Schedule Full Time | 40 hours/week (Inpatient weekend rotation 1 weekend per month) Job Summary The Physical Therapist at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital delivers high‑quality rehabilitation services to adult patients across a variety of diagnoses in an outpatient setting. The role emphasizes early mobility, strength, balance, gait training, and functional independence while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to support patient‑centered care and safe, timely discharge planning. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and established plans of care. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based practice. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge recommendations in accordance with hospital standards. Support safe transitions of care and discharge planning. Provide coverage in inpatient or outpatient therapy as required. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure. Prior outpatient experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
