Central Plains Equipment is hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment & Agriculture Diesel Tech to join our service team in Sharon Springs. • Perform maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning on agricultural and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Diagnose equipment issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technical resources
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Utilize electronic parts catalogs and service documentation
• Maintain high standards for safety, organization, and workmanship
• Collaborate with team members across service, parts, and sales departments
• Deliver professional, dependable service to customers

• 3+ years of experience repairing agricultural, diesel, or heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of:
  • Diesel engines
  • Hydraulics
  • Electrical systems
  • Equipment diagnostics
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues independently
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
• Commitment to safety and quality service

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a shop environment
• Comfortable working around machinery, fluids, and varying shop conditions
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving status
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
