About the Role As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Twelve Labs, you’ll build a scalable and reliable infrastructure to power our AI video platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate video foundation models, optimizing for performance and adaptability in a dynamic startup environment. In this role, you will Engage in the system design, implementation, and management of Twelve Labs' cloud infrastructure, as well as its on-premise infrastructure Build of single tenant architecture to accommodate enterprise customers on different cloud vendors Architect Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible with mature CI/CD pipelines Contribute to existing architecture and optimization of a highly utilized cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security and efficiency Champion best practices in security and compliance, ensuring our infrastructure is resilient against threats and aligned with industry standards, safeguarding customer data and trust in our platform Ensure documentation for installation and troubleshooting Collaborate with cloud service providers to ensure the infrastructure is designed for optimal performance You may be a good fit if you have: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure deployment experience on AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms. Infrastructure Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including compute resources, networking, storage, operating systems, Kubernetes, AWS services, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Proficient Technical Skills: Scripting expertise using Python, Go, or TypeScript. Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues through a solid understanding of full-stack code (REST APIs, Authentication, Security, and React). Collaboration Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering a strong team culture built on best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience building or utilizing AI/ML solutions in the cloud Prior exposure building and operating a large-scale cloud-based infrastructure Experience developing infrastructure or applications with Go Experience in building and maintaining services on air-gapped environments Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack, etc. Benefits and Perks An open and inclusive culture and work environment.
