Revenue Accountant

Accountants needed for growing energy company! Job details: This Jobot Job is hosted by: Gavin Gruwell Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year Our growing energy‑focused organization is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of revenue-related transactions. This individual will work closely with accounting, operations, and commercial teams to ensure financial data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. Primary Responsibilities Process and reconcile monthly production and revenue-related data within financial systems. Maintain and validate operational datasets that impact revenue reporting. Review, analyze, and reconcile information received from third‑party customers and business partners. Support state and regulatory tax reporting requirements. Assist with revenue adjustments, reconciliations, and period‑end close activities. Analyze pricing structures, contractual terms, and revenue impacts. Participate in unclaimed property and information‑return reporting processes. Prepare documentation and schedules to support internal and external audit requests. Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within energy, natural resources, utilities, or a similar industry. Experience working with high-volume transactional data and financial reporting processes. Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
