You'll work closely with IT, development, and security teams to keep networks running reliably across multiple classification levels.What You'll OwnNetwork infrastructure design, implementation, and support across cloud-based and on-premises environments, including Cisco routing and switching configurationDeployment and management of encryption devices to secure data in transitNetwork system and service configuration, documented and kept currentTroubleshooting of network and system issues across cloud and on-premises environmentsNetwork diagrams and documentation that reflect the current state of the environmentCoordination with IT, development, and security teams to keep the network aligned with organizational requirementsWhat You'll DeliverReliable, secure network connectivity across cloud and on-premises environmentsDocumented network configurations, diagrams, and changes the team can rely onFewer network issues through proactive testing and evaluationResolved network incidents with clear documentation of root cause and fixSecure data transfer through properly deployed and maintained encryption devicesHere's What You Need3+ years of network engineering experience, including hands-on work with Cisco routing and switching design/configuration and deployment/management of encryption devicesBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degreeDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+, CISSP, CASP, CCNA Security, or equivalent)or DoD 8140 equivalentBonus Points If You Have2+ years of experience maintaining cloud-based network solutionsExperience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., NetScout, Wireshark, ExtraHop, SolarWinds)Experience with hybrid cloud networking (AWS VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, or equivalent)Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, or network orchestration technologiesFamiliarity with National Security systems and air-gapped environmentsSecurity RequirementsActive TS clearance required; SCI preferredThe pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:$103,200 - $196,400 USDEqual Employment Opportunity Statement We believe that no one should be discriminated against because of their differences.
