Job Summary:
The Detroit-based CT Technologist position involves performing computerized tomography (CT) radiological procedures within a Level I Trauma Center. Under general supervision, this role requires delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and assisting radiologists with complex diagnostic procedures. The position emphasizes adherence to radiation protection principles and accurate documentation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other weekend weekend rotation; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess an ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in CT imaging, be registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, and maintain required continuing medical education hours.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves preparing patients for procedures, administering intravenous contrast media, reviewing clinical data, performing imaging with appropriate radiation safety, and documenting all procedures accurately. Candidates will assist radiologists during complex sterile diagnostic procedures and ensure high-quality images are delivered into the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
