Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2692.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced community hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric cases, with an emphasis on quick decision-making and team collaboration. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level 3 Trauma ER. Manage complex patient conditions, including high patient volumes and fluctuating census. Administer medications, start IVs, and perform EKGs as needed. Collaborate with respiratory, anesthesia, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient care activities accurately within the EPIC electronic system. Follow protocols for patient monitoring and safety, including ventilator and respiratory treatments. Qualifications: Possess a valid NY RN license or proof of application with applied date. Minimum of 1 year of ER or emergency nursing experience. Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Experienced with EPIC EMR system within the past 2 years. Ability to work in a high-volume, high-acuity environment with patient ratios exceeding 1:4. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
