Growing together.We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.Tour a Genoa Pharmacy at the following link: Genoa Healthcare On-site Pharmacy Tour. Schedule of Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, no nights, weekends, or holidays. Candidates must have some availability during that time. Pharmacy Locations: Floating between our pharmacies in Brooklyn and Jackson Heights, with opportunity to cover Long Island for additional hours.Primary Responsibilities:Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersProvides information to customers about medications and their useFocuses on providing a superior level of customer serviceEnsures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of PharmacyAdministration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of PharmacyAny other usual and customary pharmacy dutiesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmDCurrent pharmacist license in state of New YorkCertified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hireValid driver's license and access to reliable transportationPreferred Qualification:Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hirePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
