Dental Partners Owensboro is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Hygienist to support high-quality patient care in a collaborative practice environment. The ideal candidate has at least two years of clinical experience, is well-organized with strong attention to detail, and helps create an efficient, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education on oral hygiene and home care. Effectively communicate clinical findings and recommendations to the doctor and clearly explain treatment needs to patients. Accurately enter and maintain digital documentation for each patient visit, including charting, x-rays, and periodontal records. Review existing treatment plans, confirm scheduled treatment, and support case acceptance through clear communication. Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness and readiness of operatories, instruments, and equipment. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting. Proficiency with digital charting systems and digital radiography/x-ray equipment. Solid knowledge of periodontal disease, periodontal therapy, and current hygiene best practices.
