Machine Operator 1st shift

Machine Operator Shelton, CT

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Shelton, CT. This position is responsible for operating machinery, performing quality checks, and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate vertical bar machines to manufacture electrical connectors
• Perform machine setup and changeovers as needed
• Conduct quality inspections using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
• Package finished products
• Follow all safety procedures and standard work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure daily production and quality goals are achieved

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operation experience required
• Experience using gauges, micrometers, and calipers
• Good math and measurement skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout an 810 hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• High School Diploma or GED required
