Volunteers Needed - Support FoodCycle at the USGA Women’s Open!
FoodCycle LA
FoodCycle is seeking volunteers to help work concession stands during the US Golf Association Women’s Open on Saturday, June 6. This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the premier events in women’s golf while helping raise funds to support FoodCycle’s mission.
Volunteers will assist with concession operations throughout the tournament and help create a great experience for attendees. A portion of the proceeds and tips earned during the event will directly benefit FoodCycle and the work we do in the community.
Volunteers will be assigned to one of two key concession team roles during the event. No prior experience is needed, and all volunteers will receive guidance and support onsite.
CASHIER – Volunteer Role
- Process guest transactions using the provided point-of-sale (POS) system
- Hand food and beverages to guests at the counter
- Provide friendly, welcoming customer service and help create a positive experience for attendees
- Represent FoodCycle throughout the event by engaging with guests in a professional and upbeat manner
EXPO (Runner) – Volunteer Role
- Prepare and organize food and beverage orders for guests
- Restock inventory, supplies, and concession items as needed
- Support cashiers by helping maintain efficiency and quick service during busy periods
- Assist with keeping concession areas organized and running smoothly
Available Shifts:
- 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM

**Please note that all volunteers are required to complete a background check before the event.
**Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers during their shift!
