ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·      Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each resident and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and having them removed

·      Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department

·      Maintain an accurate charge drawer throughout the day and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final drawer tally, close out the POS at close daily.

·      Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum

·      Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the residents at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times

·      Must be in company uniform and resident ready at all times

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·      Resume and proven working experience as a bartender

·      Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

·      Computer literacy

·      Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

·      Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

·      Relevant training certificate

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·      High School Graduate or equivalent

·      SERV Safe-Bar Certification

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·      One (1) year as a Bartender in a large-scale cooking operation, preferably in Senior Living or Restaurant
