If you have and enjoy using surgical and procedure-based skills, this opportunity is perfect for you!Perks and Benefits:Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage2:1 Match on retirement savingsTuition ReimbursementGrowth opportunities to higher seniority positionsManagement that provides quality training and directionApplications to this posting will be considered for openings in the following areas:CardiovascularCancerPulmonaryAllergyOphthalmologyAnd other diagnostic-based outpatient servicesResponsibilitiesAssist with and may perform specialty-specific diagnostic tests such as: electrocardiograms, Fine Needle Aspirations, Fibro Scans, basic Spirometry, Skin Tests, Diagnostic monitoring,Holter Monitor assistance, vision related testing including visual fields, contact lens trainings, intra ocular injection preps, scanning of the retina.Assist with IV starts.Set up Sterile Fields.Administer medications/immunizations, injections as directedMay complete general administrative duties as assigned including; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Disability and Return to Work forms, Electronic Medical Record in-basket messages, etc.Complete other clinical and non-clinical duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR current enrollment in, or completion of coursework in a healthcare professional program (e.g., medical school, PA program, nursing program, or related clinical training) OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (1 - 3 years).Demonstrated knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care, and basic medical terminology.Desired QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or (RMA).Experience working within a large complex health care setting.Familiarity with electronic medical records system.Experience working in a surgical or procedural outpatient or inpatient setting.Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
