Domestic Assistant- Georgetown

A private family in Georgetown is seeking a long-term, reliable Full-Time Domestic Assistant to support a busy household with two children. This is a hands-on household position combining detailed housekeeping, laundry, errands, and backup childcare.
The ideal candidate is professional, discreet, organized, and comfortable becoming a trusted member of the household. The family is looking for someone interested in a long-term commitment and open to a full-time schedule.
Responsibilities

Maintain the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of a 3,500-square-foot townhouse.

Manage household laundry.

Tidy and organize the home throughout the day.

Coordinate with the weekly housekeeping team.

Run household errands and assist with day-to-day household needs.

Provide backup childcare for the family's two children.
-
Assist with school pickups, activities, or childcare coverage when needed.

Care for the family's cat and small dog.

Help keep the household running smoothly and proactively identify tasks that need attention.
Qualifications

Strong housekeeping and laundry skills.
-
Experience with or willingness to provide backup childcare.
-
Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.

Professional and discreet with excellent judgment.
-
Able to run errands and manage household tasks independently.
-
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Schedule: Ideal Schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
