What You'll Do: \n
\n

\n
• Develop, release, and maintain the SV to ground ICD and all ICDs with external interfaces.
\n
• Provide support to development of the mission CONOPS and functional baseline.
\n
• Define simulator requirements and use-cases to support Collection Segment and Mission Integration & Test activities.
\n
• Work closely with the verification lead to develop the mission level verification plan.
\n
• Develop and/or implement the Mission Test Plan and Mission-level Test Procedures.
\n
• Ensure all simulator, Ground Support Equipment, network interfaces and other resources are identified and in place to support mission level testing.
\n
• Lead mission-level test activities. These tests include but not limited to early data exchanges, risk-reduction activities, end-to-end data verification, space to ground compatibility, factory compatibility, and multi-segment testing.
\n
• Provide support for operations and launch rehearsal development and execution.
\n
• Provide planning and execution of continuous Mission System Integration and Test activities post-launch due to issue resolution, space vehicle software updates, ground system updates, discrepancy reports, regression testing, and operations updates.
\n
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
\n
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
\n
• Perform other duties as necessary.
\n

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.\n
\n

• Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
\n
• May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
\n
• May access other facilities in various weather conditions.
\n

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\n

\n
• BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 8 or more years related experience.
\n
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
\n
• A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI.
\n
• Experience developing mission level ICDs.
\n
• Experience developing mission level test plans and supporting execution.
\n
• Proven technical leadership experience and familiarity with mission systems integration.
\n
• Experience in either mission system, spacecraft systems, ground systems and payload systems.
\n

• Experience supporting enterprise test at launch site.
\n
• Experience in MBSE, Linux OS, JIRA, and large program test management.
\n
• Background in EVM or CAM.
\n
• Proven success as a technical team lead.
\n
• Experience with mission operations.
\n
• Solid interpersonal skills, ability to effectively lead group discussions, ability to set priorities and delegate as required to meet all objectives.

  • Python scripting knowledge.
  \n
  • Procedure development and execution.
  \n
  • Verification of ROPs using python/sim operations.
  \n
  • General spacecraft operations knowledge.

  • Experience with mission operations.

Pay Information \n
\nFull-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035\n
\n
\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. \n
