About the Role

We're hiring our first Account Executive - a founding sales hire who will build the AE function from the ground up. This is not a role where you inherit a playbook; you're writing it. You'll be selling into an underserved category (restaurant and food service brands) with a differentiated offer: an agency that combines traditional marketing services with a real tech stack and a built-out influencer/creator management arm.

What you'll own:
• Full-cycle new business: prospecting, outreach, and closing
• Positioning Plein Air's tech and influencer capabilities (Big Colony, Korora) as core differentiators
• Building repeatable sales processes and materials as you go — you'll shape how this function operates long-term
• Partnering directly with leadership and delivery teams to scope deals that are realistic to execute

What We're Looking For
• Experience in agency, martech, or influencer/creator sales — ideally with exposure to restaurant or hospitality brands
• Comfort building process without waiting for one to be handed to you
• Ability to speak credibly about both marketing strategy and technology/product, since this role sits between the two
• A closer, not just a relationship-builder — this is a quota-carrying, revenue-owning seat

• At least three years of experience 
• Proven ability to generate pipeline and create new business opportunities
• Experience in B2B sales with ownership over early-stage deal development
• Strong consultative instincts with a focus on uncovering and shaping client needs
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where none exists
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build credibility and trust
• Experience in restaurant, restaurant technology or restaurant marketing is a plus
