Pharmacy Technician - Oakland, CA

Location: Bay Area, CA (Union City)

Job Type: Contract (Start ASAP - ends 5/31)

Schedule:

• Four-day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Six evening shifts, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with standards and government regulations
• Assist Pharmacists in the final prescription check process, including labeling and packaging post-review
• Coordinate timely and precise delivery of prescriptions to customers
• Support inventory management, including receiving, rotating stock, and posting relevant medication information
• Help maintain a clean and safe workstation and ensure equipment calibration and cleanliness
• Collaborate with Technician Supervisor to uphold workplace safety and quality

Qualifications:

• Current, valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow strict protocols and government regulations
• Experience working in a pharmacy production environment preferred
• Dependable with good communication skills

This role does not involve IV preparation and focuses solely on fulfillment tasks.
