Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour rotating shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 and may include mid shifts as necessary.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and have experience in a fast-paced, high-volume general emergency department setting, caring for adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a wide range of patient diagnoses from pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Monitor and assess patients with various critical conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ER RN experience is required; first-time travelers accepted with a strong skillset.
• Current RN license for Maryland or Compact State.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI (to be obtained on-site during onboarding).
