We are seeking a talented CT Technologist to become part of a dedicated team that strives to deliver exceptional care to patients and support one another. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The CT Technologist will conduct CT scans in various environments as directed by licensed healthcare providers, adhering to ethical standards and hospital policies, as well as relevant New York State regulations. This role also involves assisting with all functions within the Radiology Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a valid license from the New York State Department of Health.

Must be registered with the ARRT (Radiographer) and Cat Scan (CT) certifications.

Active status in both certifications is required.

A minimum of three years of CT experience in a hospital environment is necessary, excluding training time.

Certification from the New York State Department of Health to administer IV contrast must be obtained within two months of completing the orientation period.

On-call responsibilities in CT will be required as per the union agreement.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with anxious patients and their families in a compassionate manner.

Effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with physicians and staff in various situations.

The ability to think and act swiftly is crucial for providing high-quality care in stressful circumstances.

BLS certification is required (or must be obtained within three months).
