Inventory Purchasing Coordinator

Pay: $28.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Purchasing Coordinator to oversee inventory management and purchasing activities. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, auditing inventory levels, sourcing suppliers, conducting cost analysis, and ensuring optimal stock levels through effective min/max inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, vendor management experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory using established minimum/maximum stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Create, process, and track purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities through cost analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding product availability, lead times, and order status.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records within company systems.
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure inventory needs are met.
• Generate inventory and purchasing reports as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience managing min/max inventory levels and conducting inventory audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
