Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,374 per week in Kodiak, AK

Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery. Location: Kodiak, AK. Agency: Mindlance Health. Pay: $2,374 per week. Shift: 3 days x 12 hours (07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00). Contract Duration: 13 weeks. Start Date: 07/06/2026. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care, including vaginal delivery, cesarean section, and high‑risk deliveries. Administer medications and therapies such as magnesium sulfate, terbutaline, and pitocin (oxytocin). Perform assessments and procedures including Apgar scoring, fundal checks, episiotomy/incisional care, and fetal monitoring (internal and external). Manage neonatal resuscitation, abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and neonatal abstinence syndrome. Provide postpartum hemorrhage management, wound assessment, and newborn feeding support. Assist with amnioinfusion, Foley catheter insertion/management, forceps/vacuum extraction, and IUPC placement and calibration. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a Labor & Delivery setting. BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification required. Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred. Valid nursing license issued by the State of Alaska; pending licenses accepted if within 10‑12 weeks. Ability to work within a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital, and must be willing to work two of the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
